Update! #BreakfieldJourney

My last post was made in May. It was my first post and I gave you “50 Facts About Me”. Since then, my life has changed drastically. There is a fact in my last post that I need to change and I am going to use this post to do so.

In the “50 Facts About Me”, my very first fact I presented to you was my full name. I answered saying my full name was Anna Quintessence Terry. At the time that was my full name, but now, it’s changed. Yup, I’m no longer Anna Quintessence Terry. Now, I am Anna Quintessence Breakfield!

If you haven’t guessed it yet….. I’M MARRIED!

Mr. and Mrs. Breakfield

On July 28, 2018, I married my best friend in the whole wide world, Terrell Breakfield. It’s only been a week and a couple of days and I’m STILL gitty. Although the process of getting here was unbelievably stressful and I had some hard moments, I am very pleased with how everything came together. I had a tremendous amount of help, advice, and encouragement, I got to know my new family a lot more, and I had fun at the end of it all.

Our goofy wedding party

I never knew I had such a big circle of help and encouragement around me. I knew during the preparation time for the wedding that my family would help with no questions asked, but Terrell’s family played a major role in on making the wedding happen as well. We had help from his parents, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and even some that I haven’t even met yet. I felt overwhelmed with all the love and support we were getting from both sides.

Because Terrell’s sisters and cousin were bridesmaids, I was able to get to know them so much more and learn more about them. Terrell had told me a bunch about each of them but it was nice to actually interact with them on my own. They even got to know me as well which I guess is exciting too, lol. I am so grateful for them because they decorated the whole reception when I couldn’t even express to them all that I wanted. What they came up blew me away!

All in all, the whole wedding was beautiful and surpassed everything I envisioned.

The icing on the cake is that it was Christ-centered and romantic. I get to never leave Terrell’s side and we are in this together.

My love and I

Now, I have moved out of my parents home and into a small apartment in another state with my husband, I went from being a part-time deli worker to a full-time stay at home wife, and I am going to a completely new church that so far I have only been to twice. My life has totally flipped around. I am completely out of my comfort zone. Hey, at least that gives me more inspiration to write for my blog. I’ll be keeping you updated on the new things I endure in my new life. I guess we can call it my “Breakfield journey”! I like the sound of that!

I guess we will see what happens! 🙂

Love,

Tessa B.
